St. Jude’s Office is now open: Mondays 10am to 1:00 pm, Tuesday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Feb 22: Ash Wednesday services will be at noon and 7:00 pm with the Imposition of Ashes.
Soup chefs needed. Lenten Soup Suppers will be on Wednesdays Feb. 29, March 7, 14, 21, 28 at 6:30 pm. Approximately 40 people attend each week requiring at least 15 quarts of soup each evening. If you would like to prepare soup for one of the evenings please call Pat Coles.
Book Studies
The Gospel of John, Monday evenings 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm, Feb. 20 to Mar. 26. The topic on Feb. 20 will be: the Word made Flesh. Familiarize yourself with John 1:1-18.
Christianity after Religion, Wednesdays 10:00 am to 11:30am, Feb. 22 to Mar. 28. The book began shipping Feb. 14. Read chapters 1 & 2.
There is enough interest to have a Monday evening group for Christianity after Religion, if someone from last fall’s study would like to facilitate.

The Socks Project: During Lent, donations of new socks will be collected by students from the School for Deacons and delivered to various organizations for distribution. We need women’s or men’s white socks, any size. This year Robin Poppoff, will collect socks here at St. Jude's. A box will be in the narthex. Please join Robin in filling up the box with lots of socks for those less fortunate than us.

Meditation. There is an on going drop-in Christian meditation meet-up at St. Jude’s on the third Saturday of the month, at 9:30 am. All are welcome. If you have any questions, please contact Andrea Shortal.
Weekly Gospel Group: If you've ever wanted to spend some time every week engaged in a lively discussion about the previous Sunday's reading and sermon (with some fellowship to boot), Gospel Group could be for you. Meetings every Wednesday at Erik's Deli on Stevens Creek Blvd across from Vallco Shopping Mall in Cupertino, from 6:45pm to 8:00pm, with a lightly facilitated conversation. Weekly Wednesday noon service: Every Wednesday we have a Eucharist at noon in the church. The first Wednesday of the month will include anointing and prayers for healing. There will be a casual brown bag lunch after the service.
