Live Oak Adult Day Services
Weekdays: 9am to 3pm
About twenty seniors gather each weekday to socialize in a supportive caring program. This effort was founded about twenty years ago by members of Saint Jude's who saw a need in the local community and a resource in the (then newly constructed) classrooms. This program is now part of Live Oak Adult Day Services. Live Oak Senior Day Program is a non-profit 501C organization, featuring an activity-based program with five locations. Each center has a Program Director, Assistant Program Director, 2-3 staff members, and several volunteers.
Live Oak is an important part of the tradition of Outreach at St. Jude's. Could you volunteer a few hours a week, or every month, to interact and socialize with Live Oak's clients as a Program Volunteer? You can also be a Program Entertainer and share your talents, interests, lovable pet, humor, travel experiences, whatever. If you are curious, visitors are welcome at any time. To learn more about Live Oak at Saint Jude's, contact the Program Director, Charlotte Niemeyer, at 408.973.0905
