Campus

St. Jude’s is situated on three acres of land at the corner of Stelling and McClellan Roads in Cupertino.  The grounds are undergoing a major renovation, which you may see referred to in this website as “The Site Plan.”  Our goals in this process involve creating an inviting campus and spiritual spaces, and improving opportunities for intergenerational fellowship.

The outer corner of our campus is dedicated to maintaining a beautiful apricot orchard, a tribute to our area’s agricultural past.  Along the side roads, we’ve developed lighted parking lots, with attractive landscaping and paved paths leading into our buildings and central courtyard.

On one end of the central courtyard is our church and parish hall.  We have a memorial garden behind our church, and have plans for a meditation walk behind our parish hall, which will continue around the campus.  On the other end of the central courtyard are two classroom wings with a gated, landscaped courtyard and playground, and the original farmhouse, which is used for offices.  Our campus is lively throughout the week with a wide array of parish activities and the good works of on-campus programs.

In the Fall of 2011, there was a blessing and groundbreaking to celebrate the beginning of our central courtyard transformation (until then, the majority of this area was a parking lot).   The plans include a labyrinth and fountain within a wonderful layout of inviting spaces that we hope will not only meet the needs of our parish, but become an inviting spiritual oasis for our local community.

St Jude's church is always open for prayer and reflection.
